Dimple C. is a Dance- Movement Professional based out of Mumbai, India. Her dance journey began with a graceful sway into the world of Indian Classical Bharatnatyam for nine years. This early immersion laid the solid groundwork for her flourishing dance career.

 

In 2015, her talent shone brightly when she was awarded a scholarship at The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy, led by Ashley Lobo in Mumbai, India. Here, she embarked on a journey through Ballet, Jazz, and Artistic Contemporary dance forms, learning from accomplished mentors. She also progressed into roles such as the senior company member & and co-studio head, mentoring a tight team of approx 25 young dancers along with hundreds of students in the community classes.

 

Her dance exploration extended globally, with captivating stints at FairPlay Dance Camp in Poland in 2018 and 2019, followed by a transformative dancing immersion in the UK for a year & a half. Even during the pandemic, her dedication remained unwavering as a core member at The Movement Hub, keeping the dance community connected.

In a creative endeavor with her newfound connection with music and the itch to curate something unique, inside locked doors, she curated ‘Rhythmic Exchange’, a global online dance-music exhibit exchange with two successful editions yet to unfold in an offline setting. 

 

Beyond the dance floor, movement is a constant presence in Dimple's life, reflecting her dual passions as a traveler & travel designer. An absolute adventure seeker and go-with-the-flow explorer. She finds joy in exploring life's spiritual and humane dimensions and cherishes the simple pleasure of 'play,' much like a child's unfiltered authenticity. Usually takes great pride in working from the Emotional IQ & putting the Feelings First in her movement execution. These values seamlessly infuse her artistic and commercial pursuits.

Fresh from her UK adventure, Dimple now shares her expertise independently at various studios and schools. She offers a range of distinctive intensives and programs, specializing in Heels and Commercial Choreography, Movement, and Freestyle Improvisations. Presently, Dimple is deeply engaged in collaborations with various dance schools, indie musicians and creative brand campaigns, embodying her steadfast commitment to the world of dance and artistry and self.
